Israel To Have Largest Diamond Pavilion At HK June
|
|
The Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) will host the largest diamond pavilion at the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, which will take place from June 20 - 23, 2013. The pavilion will feature 70 diamond companies, some of whom are participating in this show for the first time. There are also 10 Israeli companies exhibiting throughout the show. This is the third time that IDI is organizing a national pavilion at this show.
The Israel Diamond Pavilion is located in Hall 3FG, with a few IDI exhibitors at the hall entrance. IDI’s information booth is located at 3G406 at the entrance to the pavilion. It will provide printed information and background on the Israeli diamond industry and will help buyers find their way through the pavilion.

Fifth Edition Of Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair To Be Held From January 26-28, 2014
|

The organizing committee of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair (ADTF) has announced that the Fifth Edition of the show will be held from January 26 to 28, 2014 in Antwerp, the world's leading diamond trading centre.
"The ADTF is the only by invitation diamond fair where only polished diamonds are traded, making it a unique global fair," said Thierry Polakiewicz, a senior member of the ADTF organizing committee. "ADTF has developed over the five past years to become an exclusive event, well-established on the international gem and jewellery industries' exhibitions' calendar."
"The choice of the 2014 dates reflects our strategy to continue to attract buyers from all over the world who will be able to fit ADTF 2014 into their travel schedule," Polakiewicz added.

DMIA To Take Part In Panel Discussion At JCK Las Vegas Show
|

Ronnie VanderLinden, President of the Diamond Manufacturers & Importers Associations of America (DMIA) will participate in the panel "Protect Your Bottom-Line with the Diamond Source Warranty Protocol" at the upcoming JCK Las Vegas show. The panel, which will serve as an introduction of the Protocol to the downstream market, in particular the jewelry retail sector, will take place on June 1, 10:00-11:15 AM, at the Mandelay Bay Convention Center.
The panel will be moderated by Robert Bates, Senior Editor of JCK. Other participants are Cecilia Gardner, President & CEO of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) and Dave Bonaparte, President & CEO, Jewelers of America (JA).

Israeli Diamonds To Shine At JCK Las Vegas
|
|
The Israeli Diamond Industry, the largest supplier of diamonds to the United States, will once again have a major presence at the JCK Show in Las Vegas next month. The Israel Diamond Pavilion, hosted by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), will feature 32 exhibitors, with an additional 22 Israeli diamond companies exhibiting throughout the show.
The JCK show is especially significant for the Israeli Diamond Industry, since the United States is Israel’s leading market for polished diamonds. Last year Israel sold close to 40% of its net polished diamond exports of $5.6 billion to the American market, a total of $2.3 billion.

Inaugural Dubai Diamond Conference 2013 Sets Agenda For The Future Of Diamond Industry

The Dubai Diamond Conference 2013 ('DDC 2013'), a Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) initiative, came to a successful close on Tuesday, 19 March, 2013.
Following a spectacular gala dinner attended by over 600 guests at the Asateer Tent, Atlantis The Palm, the closing session of the conference featured Dubai and GCC jewellery manufacturers and traders. Key topics of discussion included the changing luxury retail landscape, and the benefits and challenges of competing on a global scale for international high-end consumers.

Tzoffey's 1818 To Auction Magnificent Gems And Jewelry During US/International Diamond Week
|

A unique 100-carat pear shape emerald will be one of many magnificent gemstones to go under the hammer at an auction of exclusive gems and jewelry organized by Tzoffey's 1818 to be held during the inaugural US/International Diamond Week at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), March 17-20. The unique gemstone is accompanied by two smaller pear-shaped emeralds, weighing 50 carats each. Believed to have originated from the same piece of Zambian rough emerald, the three stones - estimated to be worth about US$4 million - is void of any treatments or enhancement processes.

10th Jovella To Be Held In Tel Aviv In July 2013

The 10th edition of JOVELLA, Israel’s international jewelry and diamond exhibition, will be held on July 2 -3, 2013 at Tel Aviv’s Trade Fairs and Convention Center. Once again the exhibition is being organized by the Stier Group, in collaboration with by the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (IJMA), the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor (IDI), the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute and the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI).

Israeli Diamond Industry Returns To Mumbai
|
|
The Israeli Diamond Industry is heading back to Mumbai for the IIJS Signature Show on February 22 - 25, 2013, for the third year in a row. The Israeli Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) will once again have a national pavilion, featuring some of Israel’s leading diamond companies.
India is a key market for Israeli diamonds, and as such has become a major marketing destination for Israeli companies. IDI organizes Israel Diamond Pavilions in three major Indian trade shows during the year – UBM Jewellery & Gem Fair in January, IIJS Signature in February and IIJS in August. Based on the Israeli exhibitors’ experience at the January show, it is clear that the Indian diamond market is back on track and is keen on Israeli diamonds.

Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair
|
|
The fourth edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair concluded on Tuesday, January 29. More than 500 visitors from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and the Russian Federation visited the exhibition booths of the 83 exhibitors in the trading halls of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse and the Diamond Club of Antwerp.
John Waldron and his son Nick, jewellers from Rutland, Vermont, USA, were happy with their first visit to Antwerp. "We thought it was a fabulously organized event, made good contacts and bought some goods. The breakfast seminars were instructive, offering valuable information. We will be back."
Most exhibitors were pleased with the make-up of the invited buyers, the majority of whom were first time visitors to Antwerp.
