DESIGNS
Orra, who say they are the pioneers in spiritual jewellery
in the country, have now come out with the na. The collection

wearing the navratnas harmoniously aligns the body with
cosmic energy. vgraha collection, as a tribute to the
nine sacred stones or navratnas that feature in Indian
tradition
Orra conceptualized and created these exclusive designs
based on extensive research into religious iconography
under the guidance of Dr. A.P. Jhamkhedkar, a renowned
archaeologist and former director of archaeology and museums
for the state of Maharashtra. Orra says his understanding
of the subject and its significance to the contemporary
man has been truly appreciated.
Orra CEO Vijay Jain says, “All our nine collections,
right from the svayambhu to our latest navgraha collection,
are meant to increase awareness on spirituality rather
than merely focus on religion. This is Orra’s ninth
consecutive spiritual collection. The navgraha collection
represents serenity, divinity and eternity. Through these
collections we attempt to bring out the various spiritual
concepts that are deeply ingrained in our rich culture.”
Beautifully crafted in 22-karat gold, the collection
will be available with a pothi (booklet) describing the
significance of the piece along with a shloka (verse)
for the worship of navgraha. The collection is available
at all the 34 Orra boutiques across the country.

Awards at Dubai saw a glittering evening of Indian film
stars like Preity Zinta, Urmila Matondkar and Katrina
Kaif wearing an exquisite jewellery collection from Orra.
