41st World Skills Competition 2011
 
 
GJEPC (The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council), in association with NSDC (National Skills Development Corporation), is inviting applications to participate in the 41st World Skills Competition 2011 in London.
 
The World Skills Competition takes place in different countries every two years and brings together over 1,000 young people from across the globe to compete in skills ranging from ‘welding’ to ‘web design’. The competitors pitch their skills against the best of the best and compete for gold, silver and bronze medals. World Skills is the largest skills competition in the world and attracts thousands of visitors such as schools, colleges and training providers, government representatives, employers and teachers.
 
* Jewellery Skill
 
Setting, Refining, Cutting, Sawing, Filing, Drilling, Milling, Scrapping, Forming Wires, Soldering, Wire Drawing, Embossing, Polishing & Designing
 
Or
 
Any skill equivalent and related to jewellery making
