GJEPC convened the largest gathering of exporters at the Exporters’ Enrolment Conclave held in Surat on 23rd March 2024. Over 250 participants graced the event, showcasing their eagerness to delve into the realm of jewellery exports. The presence of Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and Development Commissioner, Shri Abhimaniu Sharma, as the Chief Guest, added prestige to the occasion.

A highlight of the conclave was the unveiling of the “Beginners’ Guide on How to Export?” by GJEPC, aimed at facilitating newcomers in navigating the intricacies of the export industry.

Shri Vijay Mangukiya, Regional Chairman of Gujarat, GJEPC, declared the financial year 2024-2025 as the era of eCommerce revolution in the gem and jewellery sector. Additionally, he disclosed plans for the launch of an aggressive campaign on eCommerce education by the GJEPC Surat Regional Office.

Expressing optimism for the future, industry leaders affirmed that insights and expectations gleaned from the Conclave would serve as a guiding force for the Surat Regional Office in the upcoming year. The event provided a platform for stakeholders to voice their perspectives, paving the way for collaborative efforts to meet the evolving needs of the trade.
