Hari Krishna Group, one of the leading names among manufacturer-exporters of gems and jewellery from India, organised a “Mega Swachta Abhiyan” at ten different locations in Mumbai City on Sunday, 1st October 2017 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Nearly 6,500 persons took part in the campaign. 

The cleanliness drives were conducted at Dadar, Mahim, Santacruz, Andheri, Goregaon, Borivali, Mira Road and Vasai in the western part of the city and Ghatkopar and Thane on the eastern side.

In addition to hundreds of ordinary citizens, many dignitaries including MPs, MLAs, and municipal corporators also extended their support. They encouraged people to continue such activity in the larger interests of the nation.

As a special incentive, a lucky draw was held for all the participants at all ten locations and winners were given Kisna Diamond Jewellery. At the end, all those present sang the National Anthem and took an oath to keep their surroundings clean and to throw garbage in garbage bins only.
