Lucapa Earns US$ 3 Million from Latest Sale of Lulo Diamonds, Specials Not Included in Current Parcel

Lucapa Diamond Company Limited has completed the latest sale of alluvial diamonds recovered from its Lulo Diamond Project in Angola and achieved gross sale proceeds of US$3 million (A$4 million).

At the sale, a parcel of 1,632 carats was sold which translates into an average price per carat of US$ 1,838.

Lucapa said that the parcel did not include the gem-quality 46 carat pink diamond or other large Special diamonds recovered recently from new Mining Block 4.

Lucapa and its partners, Empresa Nacional de Diamantes E.P. (Endiama) and Rosas & Petalas, jointly own the Lulo diamond project.
