It was a night to watch the stars of Television – as much as to see what they were wearing -- at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards held yesterday.

“Hollywood’s biggest television stars celebrated their achievements wearing platinum jewellery at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards and related parties this evening,” announced Platinum Guild International (PGI) jubilantly.

Emmy Nominated actress Elisabeth Moss said of her look, "I wanted to go for Hollywood glamour as an ode to the end of Mad Men. I love how (my stylist) Karla (Welch) stacked my vintage Beladora platinum bracelets on one wrist. I wore 7 bracelets for my 7 Emmy nominations. And, I love how platinum makes the diamonds sparkle!"

Stylist Jessica Paster who worked with Emmy nominated actress Lena Headey for the red carpet look said, "I love platinum jewellery since it brightens every outfit and makes it come to life. I also love platinum because it's very versatile.” Jessica styled Lena with platinum jewellery from Harry Kotlar.

But if platinum was the popular metal for the evening, equally ubiquitous were the diamonds sparkling in the settings. Some stars also used a judicious mix of other gems in their jewellery.
