Consent for Collection and Processing of Personal Data:

• I, the undersigned, hereby grant my explicit, informed, and voluntary consent to The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (“the Company/Organization”) to collect, store, process, share, and otherwise use my personal data, including sensitive personal data where applicable, for purposes directly related to the services, activities, or operations of the Organization.
• I understand that this consent is provided pursuant to Section 6 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), and agree that the Company/Organization shall have the right to process my personal data in accordance with applicable laws and its internal data policies.

I further acknowledge and accept that:

• My personal data may be processed by third-party service providers engaged by the Company/Organization, under appropriate contractual safeguards;
• The Company/Organization shall not be liable for any unauthorized use or disclosure of data arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, technical malfunctions, or acts of government;
• Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the legality of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal, and the Company/Organization may retain and process data where it has a lawful basis or legal obligation to do so;
• This consent does not confer upon me any right, title, or claim to compensation or damages in respect of lawful data processing undertaken by the Company/Organization.
