A young 30-year old biz school graduate, Ajay Anand has recently launched a new venture – a website which aggregates and gives comparative costing of diamonds.

An article in Forbes magazine on the start-up and its promoter, says the site called ‘Rare Carat’, was conceived out of the frustrating experiences of its founder in his attempts to find that one perfect diamond for his intended bride.

Some savvy tech support – from IBM -- and ideation (their own) has added several innovative features to the basic platform as well.
