The De Beers Group of Companies has announced that its Auction Sales business will conduct viewings in the US for the first time ever. The viewings of Exceptional and Special Stones will be held at the International Institute of Diamond Valuation (IIDV) offices in New York, ahead of its Cycle 6 auctions.

US viewings will take place from 28 June – 30 June 2016, with the auction scheduled on 20 July, the announcement said.

Neil Ventura, Executive Vice President of Auction Sales, said: “We are delighted to start hosting viewings of our Exceptional and Special Stones in New York. We constantly seek ways of improving the levels of convenience and service we can provide our customer base and this represents an important step forward for both existing and potential customers based in the US. We are looking forward to including a wider range of products in future viewings.”
