In a fairly uncommon move, Malabar Gold & Diamonds launched  a ‘Jewellery Maintenance Carnival’ recently, which is slated to run till September 12th, 2015.  

During a month-long period, the retailer offers customers free repairs, restoration and maintenance jobs on their jewellery – even if it was originally purchased from another retailer.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds also   put forward another offer for their clientele - the ‘Zero Deduction Exchange’ offer. This means that by paying only making charges, customers can make an exchange of 22k gold ornaments bought from any GCC country. There will be no deduction in gold prices in such a case.

Also, the retailer has arranged that customers can make purchases using credit/debit cards without   attracting any additional charge.  The retail chain also offers easy instalment  plans for which it has tied up with a few  banks. What is more, six instalments are offered without any interest being charged on them.

With a wide array of jewellery from diverse centres like India, Pakistan, Bahrain, Turkey, Italy and Singapore, the group has further sweetened the deal  with its exchange and buyback policies; and lifetime free repair and maintenance services.
