Eight Rough & Polished Diamond Tenders Held During IDWI

The International Diamond Week in  Israel (IDWI) held from February 13 to February 16, 2016 saw   eight  tenders of rough and polished tenders being held   under the auspices of  the new International Tender Center at the Israeli bourse, which was launched officially at the event.

The International Trade Center located in the bourse complex, is described as “a state-of-the-art venue for polished and rough tenders by a variety of suppliers under one roof and will offer a variety of value-added services”.

I. Hennig Tenders, the independent international diamond tender operator, which holds several tenders every month in various markets, held its second polished diamond tender with an array of diamonds, “including commercial and fine polished goods in various shapes qualities”, the organisers of the  IDWI said.

Koin International Diamond Tenders which specialises in tenders of rough and polished diamonds, held its first tender also in collaboration with International Tender Center.

Commenting on  the IDWI prior to the event,  Adam Schulman, Koin International CEO, had said, “We are delighted to expand our rough and polished diamond operations to Israel, and look forward to a successful week for buyers and sellers.”

Yoram Dvash, Israel Diamond Exchange President, had commented at the time: “I am pleased that Koin will be holding a tender in Israel for the first time, and that they have taken a strategic decision to cooperate with our International Tender Center. I believe that we will see many more tenders by Koin here in the future.”
