Five Star Diamonds Limited in an update  on its 100% owned Verissimo Diamond Project   in Goias State, Brazil said that it has confirmed the presence of   two kimberlites  (V1 and V2) from amongst 10 identified targets.  

After conducting a bulk sampling programme, the Company has confirmed that the  V1 kimberlite pipe is diamond bearing. “Diamonds recovered at the V1 kimberlite pipe are white and are of high quality,”  Five Star Diamonds stated.  Further sampling is on at V1 and V2 for “for caustic fusion analysis and microdiamond count”. 

In the coming months, the  Company will carry out Auger drilling and  a kimberlite indicator sampling programmes on kimberlite targets V3 to V10.

 The Verissimo Project, originally discovered in 2005,   comprises seven mineral properties covering a total of 12,402.99 hectares. It was acquired by Five Star Diamonds in 2015.
