Gary Roskin in New Executive Director of ICA

The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) has appointed well-known gems and jewellery expert Gary Roskin as ICA Executive Director. He will be based at ICA's New York office.  

Roskin will start in the new position on August 4, 2015 and will be responsible for ICA's day-to-day activities, and will contribute to the development of the association. He will report to the ICA' Board of Directors.

A highly respected gemmologist and journalist, Roskin has served as the Executive Director of the GIA's Alumni Association, as well as being Gemstone Editor of BASELWORLD Daily News and JCK magazine.

ICA President Benjamin Hackman said: "We are delighted that Gary will be joining the ICA in such an important position. There is no doubt that this pivotal role will enhance the work of the ICA, which is the leading worldwide organization in the field of colored gemstones and jewelry  ICA will benefit from Gary's vast experience in the industry."
