GIA to Host Complimentary Education Seminars at Jewellery Arabia 2016

GIA has planned a bouquet of offerings for participants at the Jewellery Arabia 2016 Show to be held in Bahrain from November 22 to 26 this year.

The institute plans to conduct 45-minute seminars during the show which are open and complimentary for all. The seminars will cover a variety of gemstones like diamond, pearl and ruby; and seminar topics will include diamond colour on the D-to-Z scale, fluorescence in diamonds, pearl history and its value factors, synthetic diamonds and ruby sources and more. “As the creator of the famous 4Cs of diamond quality and the 7 Pearl Value FactorsTM, GIA is considered the world’s foremost authority in gemmology,” the announcement from GIA said.

Also, GIA representatives will also be available at Meeting Room D, Hall 1 to discuss the Institute’s education opportunities and laboratory services.

“GIA has been the education and laboratory provider for visitors of Jewellery Arabia since 2010,” said Nirupa Bhatt, managing director of GIA in India and the Middle East. “This exhibition provides a great platform to spread awareness about lab services and gemmological education.”
