The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council has begun the process of issuing GJEPC Photo ID card to its members, which will have an annual validity upto March 31st of every year.  It will be renewed subject to the renewal of membership of the card holder.

The GIEPC Photo ID card will  contain the name of the member - partner/ director/ proprietor –  the  firm's name and address, date of issue, membership number and ID number of the  card.

The GJEPC clarified that each person will be issued only one membership card even if he/she is partner/proprietor/director in more than one firm/company.

An added advantage is that the GJEPC envisages that in the second phase

this membership card can be used for visitor's participation in IIIS and Signature and cardholding members do not have to submit documents again for visitor badges.

In order to get an identity card, members can send a scanned copy of the latest colour photograph along with copy of valid ID proof – any one from the following:  Pan Card, Driving license, Passport, Aadhar card to: member.card@gjepcindia.com.
