GJEPC Organises India Pavilion At Vicenzaoro Dubai for Second Consecutive Year

The  Vicenzaoro Dubai (VOD) scheduled to be held from April 14 to April 17, 2016  at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will see the participation of a large India Pavilion.
Following  the extremely successful association with Vicenzaoro Dubai in 2015,      The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has organised  the India Pavilion  for the second consecutive year at the VOD.
The India Pavilion will feature 66 leading companies spread  over  90 stalls.  These companies, between them, will showcase   a vast array of diamonds, coloured gemstones; and  jewellery created especially for the buyers and visitors at the VoD show.  The jewellery at the India Pavilion will cover a wide variety  from   pret, to couture and bridal wear.
For the first time GJEPC has also organised the India Product Gallery, that provides a glimpse  of India’s craftsmanship and design sensibilities. Exclusive, one-of-a- kind pieces will be showcased in this Gallery.
“India’s central role as the sourcing centre for diamonds and precious stones jewellery is renowned world-wide,” said GJEPC Chairman Praveenshankar Pandya. “For years traders and visitors to India have enjoyed the craftsmanship, quality, design and cost efficiency of its gems and jewellery products.  We are happy to bring the source to Dubai - the most promising destination for the gemstones and jewellery trade in recent times.”
Pandya went on to add: “For India, the Middle East  is a leading export destination when it comes to gems and jewellery, with 31% of India’s gems and  jewellery exports targeted to the region. It is thus imperative to explore opportunities to nurture international trade relations  at VOD, the most apt gateway to the Middle East,  and the world.”
The chairman concluded by saying: “Fiera di Vicenza and Dubai World Trade Centre are two leading organisations committed to the growth of the gems and jewellery industry which is in line with the GJEPC's vision. This association will help in further improving and strengthening the trade in the Middle East, an important destination for gems and  jewellery from India.”
