The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). The MoU will help in alignment of gems and jewellery based training programmes in Andhra Pradesh with GJSCI, the latter said in a statement.

The MoU was finalised at a special meeting and signed by Ghanta Subba Rao, MD & CEO, APSSDC and Binit Bhatt, COO, GJSCI.

GJSCI will also support APSSDC in creating skill development centres / multi-skill institutes for training & capacity building across various segments of the gems and jewellery sector, the statement said.
