HRD Antwerp has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Damiani Group, leading Italian manufacturer-distributor of jewellery and high level luxury watches that strengthens the partnership between the two organisations.

Under the agreement, Damiani will actively seek to further develop the commercialisation of the ‘Anversa’ collection, a high end jewellery line by the Salvini brand, made exclusively with HRD Antwerp certified diamonds.

Earlier this year, nearly 160 distributors of the Salvini brand had a first-hand experience of diamond grading methodology when they visited the HRD Antwerp facilities.

“Being a leading global producer and retailer of high end diamond jewellery, the support of Damiani by means of being a true HRD Antwerp brand ambassador is significant,” said Marc Descheemaecker - Independent Member of the HRD Antwerp Board of Directors.

“The fact that Damiani has chosen HRD Antwerp as its preferred supplier for diamond certification holds significant weight within the jewellery industry,” he added.

“It’s a very important occasion to reinforce the partnership with HRD Antwerp, which has already been successful in the past.  This agreement represents the beginning of a positive path and represents a new worldwide step for Italy,” says Guido Grassi Damiani - President of the Damiani Board of Directors.

As part of the MoU, Damiani will continue to promote the “Anversa” collection by its Salvini brand, by means of organizing visits for its employees to the HRD Antwerp laboratories within the framework of their appointment as “HRD Antwerp Ambassadors”. Damiani also intends to further develop collections exclusively featuring HRD Antwerp Certified diamonds.
