Inhorgenta Munich 2015 Promises Innovative Jewellery and Watches at the Fore

The Inhorgenta Munich 2015, the 42nd edition of the fair will be held from February 20th  to 23rd  and promises new and exciting creations in jewellery and watches; and seminars for knowledge updates as well.

The show will feature over 100 new international exhibitors.  Among them will be The ILP Group with its brands EBEL, Choices by DL, Christiaan van der Klaauw, Louis Erard and Montegrappa .  GPA-Lancaster, the Italian company includes brands Lancaster Italia, Instrumento Marino, Giovine and Be Pride.  Storm London, the UK based manufacturer of modern watches and accessories will offer trendsetting design for a younger target audience.

Nicole Walger presents the double cylinder rings which emerge from two connected cylinders – an example of a unique design. “The rings take on their individual shape first during the forging process and separate on their own. The former link between the two rings remains visible and highlights the bond between both rings and their bearers,” a report from the fair organisers says.

Angela Hübel is an innovative designer specialising in rings. Her creations constantly seek to take on the challenge “to create new and interesting solutions, despite the limitations owed to the anatomy of the human hand”. While wedding bands are predominantly created in white, yellow and rose gold, models combining two types of gold are very popular now as well, say the organisers.

Men need no longer feel neglected either.  Inhorgenta Munich will have jewellers offering the modern man a wide range of jewellery from a number of jewellery manufacturers. Zaunick, for example, offers cufflinks in ranges from the classic to the crazy!  The latter includes rubber ducks, space shuttles or even the emblems of different cities.

The Inhorgenta Munich 2015 will be rounded off with a seminar programme. “Contemporary Design and Vision”, will cover “various talks as well as discussion groups and idea platforms”. The focus for this broad-based seminar will lie on “the latest trends of the industry, prospective developments in marketing as well as the establishment of the jeweller as a brand”.
