JAS 2015, the 9th edition of the trade show organised by The Jewellers Association, Jaipur will run from August 21-24, 2015 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sitapura. The new venue for the show, described as the largest exhibition centre in the Pink City, has enabled the show to expand as well as enhance the facilitied being provided, the organisers said.

The exhibition will have about 500 booths this year covering different segments of jewellery and coloured stones, a significant increase over the 330 stalls at last year’s event. The jewellers will showcase traditional as well as contemporary designs. Besides, suppliers of machinery, tools and allied services will also be participating. A special section will feature budding new entrepreneurs within the industry.

The theme for this year’s show is Timeless Jewels, and is a celebration of the great heritage of jewellery making that the city is known for as well as the ageless beauty of gemstones and glittering jewellery articles that transcend time and are treasured as heirlooms, the JAS spokespersons added.

JAS 2015 will also feature seminars and a Gala entertainment night where the leading jewellers will present their creations at a fashion show.

1. The Jewellers Association, Jaipur is also conducting the International Jewellery Design Awards competition. Pieces that were selected after the first round of judging will be displayed and the winners will be announced at the show.
