The show, which will be inaugurated under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, runs from Nov 24-28, 2015. It is the largest edition ever of this event.

Spread over about 850 square metres, the Indian pavilion showcases exquisite craftsmanship and jewellery collections comprising high-end diamond jewellery, gold and platinum jewellery, and fine jewellery. Also on display will be loose diamonds, studded gold jewellery, designer handmade jewellery, high-end diamond jewellery, bridal jewellery and exclusive pieces.

For the Middle East market, Indian exhibitors will also focus on jewellery with coloured stones, sapphires, emeralds, rubies and solitaire diamonds. A new feature of the pavilion this year is diamond studded palladium and platinum jewellery in different settings.

Commenting on the India Pavilion, Praveenshankar Pandya, Chairman, GJEPC said, “Middle East has emerged as one of the key leading markets for gems & jewellery, currently accounting for nearly 30% of our total exports. Jewellery Arabia forms an important platform to increase trade with the region. Middle East is one of the key focus market for India, and GJEPC will continue to make concerted efforts to increase its share in the market.”

He added, “The jewellery preferences and design sensibilities of Middle East are very similar to that of India; thus jewellery designed by India has gained substantial demand over the years.”
