In a unique attempt to foster educational achievement, encourage children to for outstanding academic performance and pursue further academic goals, Kiran Gems, held a programme for the children of its employees titled  “Future Achievers  Scholarship Programme 2015”. The programme, which aims to recognise young achievers saw  Dinesh Lakhani, the director of Kiran Gems, gracing the event.

“The diamantaire is no stranger to playing a part improving society,” the company said in a press statement. In the past, Kiran has been actively involved in supporting education, health and social welfare. On this occasion, Lakhani congratulated the achievers and their proud parents, emphasising the need for timely completion of education, and attaining  a professional degree, in order to succeed in the current competitive environment.  Lakhani said he was “overwhelmed” with the meritorious performance of the young achievers this year; and expressed his happiness that Kiran’s staff members take education seriously and consider it vital for the future of their children.

The young achievers were presented with scholarships and Kiran’s Certificate of Merit. “We, the staff of Kiran, are really grateful to our management for appreciating the hard work put in by our children,” beamed a staff member whose child was part of this merit list. “It is very rare to find an employer who takes such active interest in staff welfare activities.”
