Leading diamond manufacturer-exporter Kiran Gems conducted a blood donation drive at its office premises in The Capital at the Bandra Kurla Complex recently. The day-long camp was organised in association with Umang Foundation (NGO) and Sir J.J. Mahanagar Raktapedhi and received an enthusiastic response.

Among those who donated blood were employees and their families, as well as brokers, assorters and employees of other companies across the industry too. The senior management of the company was actively involved in overseeing the drive and ensuring that the donors received proper care.

Dinesh Lakhani, director said, “This event presented us with a unique opportunity to do something selfless and that goes beyond just monetary donations. I am so happy that employees of Kiran and other companies are actively participating in this noble cause.”
