Large Numbers Visit DMCC’s Dubai Pavilion at Shanghai Gold Summit

The Dubai Pavilion set up by Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre (DMCC) at the 2014 China Gold and Precious Metals Summit attracted hundreds of visitors according to Franco Bosoni, Director, Commodity Services, DMCC.

The pavilion, around the theme ‘Connecting Global Trade and Enterprise’, featured several Dubai organisations showcasing their products and services and how these would benefit the gold and precious metals trading community.The Dubai delegation included representatives from DMCC, Al Etihad Gold, Brinks, Gulf Gold Refinery, Panis and Shah Associates DMCC and Kaloti Jewellery International.

This was the ninth edition of the annual summit and the first to have a full-fledged Dubai Pavilion.

Bosonisaid, “The DMCC recognises the major role that China plays in the UAE and global bullion trade. Attending the summit enables us to discuss best practices and explore new avenues where Dubai’s bullion sector can further complement the development of this evolving market.”

David Huang, general manager of the conference organizer IGVISION, commented: “For the first time, the summit featured a Dubai Pavilion, which attracted a lot of interest. We look forward to this initiative growing in the years to come.”
