Pangolin Releases Updates at Its Malatswae Diamond Project

Pangolin Diamonds Corp released its latest update on progress at the Company's wholly-owned Malatswae Diamond Project in Botswana, announcing the recovery of two more diamonds from its latest sampling programme. The Company said that this has taken the total number of diamonds recovered from soil sampling to ten.

While one of the two diamonds recovered is a white cube with small black inclusions and dimensions of roughly 0.7 x 0.7 x 0.7mm, the other diamond is an irregular shape with remnant octahedral surfaces and dimensions of roughly 1.0 x 0.8 x 0.5mm. Nine of the ten diamonds recovered to date are white in colour.

The latest two diamonds were recovered from an unscreened 100 litre sample collected within a 10 square metre area of a GPS controlled sample site. They were first evaluated by an independent mineral specialist in Gaborone and later confirmed by testing at MCC Geoscience Inc. (Vancouver, B.C.).

During its recent drill programme, the Company tested 5 of the 30 high priority anomaly targets believed to be the kimberlite sources of the diamonds. While kimberlite was not intersected, the results provided additional geological information and will contribute to formulation of the next drill programme later this year.

Six more licenses have been awarded to the Company that expand its holdings at the Malatswae Diamond Project by approximately 5,472.5 square kilometres.
