Platinum EVARA Launches New Lightweight Collection for Modern Brides and Grooms

Platinum EVARA, PGI’s wedding jewellery collection for the modern Indian bride and groom, has unveiled a new collection.

The highlight of this collection is that it is lightweight and wearable; yet has unique designs fashioned on a core philosophy which lends it added weight.

“Platinum Evara has a deeply rooted meaning in Sanskrit with “blessings" as its core philosophy,” explained PGI.  “An interpretation of modern day values, the beautifully crafted EVARA collection is a perfect gift for the newlywed couple and to bless them with a token of pure love.”

All the designs are created around the “Platinum Bond” - multiple strands of platinum gathered together -- “symbolic of a coming together of families to create a beautiful new relationship”, said PGI.

The creations are inspired by the traditional flower and leaf motifs;  however, these  have been interpreted in a contemporary  manner, to resonate with the modern bride and groom. Elaborating on the description, PGI said: “Strings of delicate flowers, petals and buds of jasmine, orchids, sunflowers and lotus lend a contemporary touch to the jewellery. Whereas an elusive lashing of leaves, textural forms and sinuous curves held together with the platinum bond brings out the classic look. The platinum bond is inspired from the ginko leaf, delicate root-like texture and silhouettes.”

Based on the insight that the Millennial man is “fashion forward”, the EVARA range offers a classic collection suitable for the stylish groom. “The Platinum Evara Men’s range includes some of the most captivating, bold yet minimalistic chains and bracelets inspired by geometrical shapes and patterns, which has a bold interplay of lines and structures,” said PGI.

The new collection is available at leading authorised platinum retailers across India in a price range from roughly Rs. 75,000 for women’s bangles and bracelets to up to Rs. 2,00,000 for necklace and earring sets.  Men’s chains and bracelets are available starting from Rs. 1,00,000.

“In order to assure consumers of the purity of platinum jewellery, Platinum Guild India Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Underwriters Laboratories (UL Inc, USA) to audit and monitor its Quality Assurance Scheme,” noted PGI. “Under this scheme, all authentic platinum jewellery in India comes with a Quality Assurance Card and bears the purity hallmark of “Pt 950” stamped inside the piece. This also serves as an assurance of a ‘buy back’ programme.”
