Queen Bey – as Beyonce, the eccentric artiste is called – might be stomping around in diamond studded shoes worth GBP 216,000 in her next music video, if the media buzz is to be believed. The Queen of pops does have a reputation for donning the chic and the exotic when it comes to fashion wear. But this time she has outdone herself and left the likes of Versace and Balmain, whose outfits she has featured in the past, far behind. What is more, the sparkling stilettos will be joined by a diamond studded gold Basque belt which cost a further GBP 55,000.  The purchases were made from the Birmingham-based House of Borgezie, creators of a range of gemstudded exotica.

Media reports quote Christopher Shellis, designer and owner of the House of Bergezie as saying that Beyonce’s custom made ‘Princess Constellation’ shoes were cast in 18k gold and contain 1300 diamonds. The belt is said to have more than 362 diamonds.

Interestingly it was an article written about the atelier in the Birmingham press which happened to be read by Beyonce’s staff that led to the purchase ultimately. Everyone is now waiting for Beyonce’s next video to be released.
