Registration of delegates for the 2015 Presidents' Meeting of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA) to be held in Israel from June 14-16, 2015 has commenced, the organisers, Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA), said in a release today.

The hosts have invited all those who are planning to attend the meeting to go online and complete the registration and hotel booking process. They also said that they look forward to strong participation from the 30 WFDB affiliated bourses and the IDMA members.

"Each and every member of our industry needs to be part of the discussions that will touch upon the difficulties we have been facing, among others, in the supply of rough diamonds, the disconnect between rough and polished diamond prices, the need for broader and more diverse industry financing and the quest for a solution to uniform diamond grading parameters, " said IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer, who is also an Honorary WFDB President.

He said that they were also looking forward to participation from responsible ministers of diamond mining nations, leadership of the major diamond producers, industry bankers, and members of other supporting industries.

Jacob (Kobi) Korn, President, IsDMA and Executive Vice President, IDE, said he would be contacting each and every IDMA member organisation and suggest they also bring members of the young generation to the event.
