Saffronart, an art,  antiquities, collectibles and jewellery auction house will hold a fine jewellery and silver online auction on October  13th and 14th, 2014.

There are some royal pieces in the collection on auction; the highlight of which is an Edwardian Brooch with a magnificent centre diamond, surrounded by several full cut diamonds. This gem which has been in the keeping of a Parsi family and is supposed to be about 100 years old has an estimated value of between Rs. 55,00,000 to Rs. 75,00,000.

Another valuable jewel is the “double faced” coin necklace, also of some anitiquity. A collection from Mangaldas Girdhardas, businessman and philanthropist, includes bangles, rings, necklaces and earrings in polka diamonds.
