Sarine Technologies Releases Meteorâ„¢ System for Inclusion Mapping of Smaller Stones

Sarine Technologies Ltd has announced the official release of its new Meteor™ system for inclusion mapping of smaller stones. A statement from the manufacturer of advanced evaluation, planning, processing, and finishing systems for the diamond industry, said that the system is based on Sarine's Galaxy™ solution, and is designed to provide faster, cost effective inclusion mapping for the much broader 0.25-0.85 ct segment of rough diamonds.

Beta trials of the Meteor™ device were undertaken at three large diamond manufacturers, with the Meteor™ demonstrating outstanding success, scanning more than 220 stones per day, thereby substantially accelerating the scanning throughput for manufacturers, further reducing the cost of ownership and use of the system, the company said.

Uzi Levami, Chief Executive Officer of Sarine, stated, "The release of the Meteor™ system to the market is an important step in making Sarine's advanced inclusion mapping technology accessible to a significantly wider range of stone sizes. The proven Galaxy™ technology is now implemented in a system specifically targeted at the smaller stone segment, enabling a fast, efficient inclusion mapping solution for manufacturers of smaller goods. Sarine is proud to have made our leading Galaxy™ inclusion mapping technology efficient and cost effective for manufacturers focusing on smaller rough diamonds, thus helping to create additional value for their business."
