Shirtal Diamonds to Launch Diacam360 at Israel’s international Diamond Week

Israeli diamond firm Shirtal Diamonds will launch Diacam360, a new compact, table top scanning device that produces high quality photos and 360-degree, interactive videos of polished diamonds in seconds at the International Diamond Week that opens on February 8 in Israel. The company said in a release that it had developed the device in response to requests of their overseas clients for high quality images of diamonds offered for sale by the firm.

The device is small, portable and affordable and the quality of the images it creates are on par with what can be achieved in a photo studiio, the statement added. The user does not need any specialised skills in photography.

Lior Hirsh, Shirtal's marketing manager says that the company is often dealing with clients in distant overseas markets, and it developed this tool that would enable them “to view our diamonds from every angle, just as if they are holding the stone in their own hands”.

The DiaCam360 will be on display at the DiamTech exhibit at the Diamond Week.
