STPL Wins Prestigious Japanese Good Design Award

STPL (better known as Sahajanand Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), was recently bestowed the  ‘Good Design Award’  for the year 2015 by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, a public interest incorporated foundation. 

The Company which was given the Award in the ‘Equipment and Facilities for Production and Manufacturing’ category, received it for its diamond measurement and planning system, The Magnus Digital.

The Good Design Awards were instituted in 1957 and have since become globally renowned.   There are several categories for which awards are given and winners of this prestigious honour can use the ‘G mark’, the symbol of the award and one which is recognised as a hallmark of excellent design.

The Company in a press statement said that the evaluation committee noted that “STPL has succeeded in making compact equipment for measuring and cutting rough diamond and pairing it with user friendly software”. Further the committee said: “As such it should be commended for achieving an intuitive operation.”

Earlier this year, STPL had received the Indian Design Mark ‘i-Mark’ Award and Vision Design System Award.
