Tara Jewellers Ties Up with Snapdeal To Expand Online Presence

After a successful foray into ecommerce, Tara Jewels will be  strengthening its online presence through its recently concluded agreement with Snapdeal.

“Tara Jewellers, through its distributor has tied up with Snapdeal to launch the brand's new collections on their portal,” the company announced. “The decision to put its jewellery online had been promoted by shifting consumer behaviour and increasing comfort of consumers with the medium.”

Through its online presence, Tara Jewellers plans to reach consumers in Tier I, Tier II & Tier III markets in India. It hopes to both widen its customer base, as well as garner repeat sales from existing ones, especially in areas where it does not have a physical presence.
