Three More Prospecting Licences for Pangolin at the Malatswae Diamond Project

The Government of Botswana has granted Pangolin Diamonds Corp three more licences for the Malatswae Diamond Project taking its total size from  1,058 km2 to 2,480 km2 , in a single contiguous block. These additional licenses at Malatswae, the Company’s wholly-owned project located 90 kilometres southeast of the Orapa Diamond Mine, have been granted for an initial period of three years. The licence fee is approximately $C 6,500 each, per year.

The Company said that it work will begin shortly   compilation of geological data, geophysical surveys and other preparatory work, including soil sampling.

“Pangolin’s exploration of PL247/2014 has recovered four diamond-positive soil samples as well as numerous kimberlite indicator minerals (“KIM”),” the Company said in a press release. “Several clusters of the KIMs have features that suggest proximal source rocks such as kimberlites. Two areas, MSC and Modala Grids, are subject to intensified exploration including drilling.”
