Tiffany & Co. and Net-A-PorterEnter a Limited Period Global Collaboration

Tiffany & Co. and Net-A-Porter have entered into an agreement for a global collaboration to make select Tiffany designs available for purchase on Net-A-Porter.com, both companies said in a joint announcement. The limited- period collaboration begins from April 27, 2016. However, no indication was given as to the length of this period.

Apart from Tiffany’s own channels, its jewellery will from April 27th only be available for purchase online through Net-A-Porter. This, Tiffany & Co. feels will enable  the brand to reach new and prospective audiences through Net-A-Porter’s reach  in over 170 countries; and will greatly enhance its ecommerce presence, which currently  extends to about 13 countries.

“Founded in New York, Tiffany has been a renowned house of luxury for 179 years, and brand collaborations with innovative businesses like Net-A-Porter help ensure that Tiffany’s timeless designs reach a new generation of customers, wherever they are,” said Philippe Galtie, senior vice president of international sales at Tiffany & Co. “With their recognised edit and fashion authority, Net-A-Porter will re-introduce Tiffany as more than the legendary jeweller, but an expression of personal style.”

“Tiffany is such an important brand in luxury jewellery, and its heritage holds a special meaning for so many of our customers at Net-A-Porter,” said Sarah Rutson, vice president of global buying for Net-A-Porter. “We are thrilled to serve as Tiffany’s first ever global ecommerce partner, an extraordinary coup for both brands. By marrying the ultimate legacy jewellery brand with the ultimate destination in online luxury fashion, we hope to re-introduce Tiffany to a highly engaged and fashion-conscious global consumer.”

Net-A-Porter, which was launched in June 2000 has since established itself as the world’s premier online luxury fashion destination.
