UBM Asia Announces Special Features For Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2016

UBM Asia, organisers of  Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair  (SJGF)  said that the  4th edition of the show to be held from November 4 to 7,  2016 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre  will feature “a series of events and components”.

The organisers yesterday announced a partnership with MasterCard, by which visitors to SJGF 2016 will receive an additional 10% discount on purchases made at the fair with participating exhibitors.

 The fair will also feature    “a line-up of events, seminars, and experiential activities”. UBM Asia stated in a press release:  “Over the course of the four-day event, attendees can participate in seminars and workshops led by contemporary experts such as Tanja M. Sadow in  Assessing Diamond Cutting and Creating Creative Designs in Jewellery to keeping up-to-date with business with trade seminars such as Revolutionary Systems and Tools for the Small Business Owner and Marketing Gemstones & Jewellery to Millennials.” 

SJGF 2016 will also   host  the Singapore Jewellery Design Award (SJDA). The theme for this year’s  competition is   Metamorphosis and “celebrating creative yet commercially attractive original pieces”. The SJDA  will be held in the  morning of the opening day (November 4), and will be followed  by an Exclusive Fashion Show in the afternoon “featuring a showcase of exquisitely-crafted bespoke jewellery by several internationally-acclaimed exhibitors”.

The fair is expecting participants from  Belgium, Germany, Hong  Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, and USA.
