CaratLane estimates a twofold jump in its production capacity with the launch of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai. Located in the SIDCO industrial area at Thirumudivakkam, the 32,000 sq ft facility spans four floors and is expected to become a key pillar of CaratLane’s manufacturing and supply chain network. 
The Tata Group company said the new unit will improve production efficiency, shorten turnaround timelines, and support faster delivery of jewellery collections across markets.
The facility is equipped to manufacture a broad range of jewellery, from everyday wear pieces to high-value solitaire collections. It houses advanced manufacturing technologies including high-precision 3D printers for prototyping, faceting machines, laser cutting systems, and specialised casting equipment aimed at producing lightweight yet durable jewellery.

The facility incorporates solar panels capable of generating 40 kW of clean energy and features a water recycling system designed to minimise environmental impact.
