GJEPC’s Chennai Regional Office organised a stakeholder meeting with Smt. Rajalakshmi Devaraj, IDAS, Zonal Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). Attended by 73 participants, the session aimed to explore solutions to support small-value e-commerce exports in the gem and jewellery sector.

Smt. Kavita, Assistant Superintendent, showcased the range of postal services available to facilitate such exports, highlighting the critical role of India Post in enabling MSME exporters.

The meeting was led by Mr. Mahaveer Bothra, GJEPC Regional Committee Member, who shared his insights with the attendees. Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders’ Association (MJDTA) President Mr. Jayanthilal Challani and Mr. Sultan Mohideen, President, Chennai Jewellers Association (CJA) were also present at the event.
