Diamond Producers Association Appoints Grant Mobley as US Trade Director

The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) has appointed Grant Mobley to the newly created position of US Trade Director with responsibility for leading the organisation’s trade relations in the US. Mobley, a diamonds graduate from the Gemological Institute of America, joins the DPA with over 13 years of experience in the jewellery industry, having worked in a different fields including retail, manufacturing, and sourcing, the organisation said in a statement.

Prior to joining DPA, Mobley led sales for Pluczenik Diamond Company, a leading diamond sightholder and manufacturer. DPA described him as “a sought-after spokesperson”, saying he has often been quoted in multiple national and international publications such as Brides, Cosmopolitan, W Magazine, and more. Mobley has also been active in the largest and most important jewellery trade organisations in North America including IJO, RJO, CBG, SJTA, and Plumb Club, the DPA statement stated.
