Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) Announces New Board of Directors

The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) has elected a new Board of Directors which will be led by Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem, who is also the Executive Chairman of the DMCC. The DDE, the only bourse in the Middle East affiliated with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), is a platform of the DMCC.

Welcoming the new team, Ahmed Bin Sulayem said that they will “bring in fresh views and expertise to further boost our key strategic goals, particularly around rough and polished diamond tenders, to elevate our diamond marketplace for the benefit of Dubai and the industry world-wide”.

The DDE, which today has over 1,000 members, is an important focal point for the global diamond trade. It conducts regular tenders that connect producers and buyers, fuelling further growth, and constantly innovates, and pushes boundaries for market participants regionally and internationally, leading to Dubai emerging as one of the top three hubs of the global diamond market.
