Gem Diamonds Recovers High Quality 115-Carat Diamond at Letšeng

Gem Diamonds Limited yesterday announced that a high quality 115-carat, D colour Type IIa diamond has been recovered from its Letšeng mine in Lesotho.

This takes the tally over-100 carat diamonds recovered so far in 2017 at Letšeng, to six. Earlier, the Company had, at various times, announced the recovery of five other diamonds of over 100 carats.  The Company emphasised that “Letšeng (is) the highest dollar per carat kimberlite diamond mine in the world.”
