GJEPC, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Vyapar Mandal – Sarafa Wing, hosted a special “Jewellery Chaupal” in Kanpur. The event was led by Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director, GJEPC and Ms. Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC.

Retail jewellers from across Kanpur actively participated, engaging in discussions with the GJEPC team. Mr. Pandey provided insights on GJEPC membership benefits, export documentation, MSME schemes, IJEX, and international trade opportunities. He highlighted how India’s gem and jewellery industry is rapidly gaining prominence on the global stage.

Ms. Sunke presented the highlights of IIJS Premiere 2025, explaining the business potential and participation process. She encouraged local jewellers to leverage IIJS as a platform to scale their brands and expand global networks.

The Sarafa Wing officials appreciated GJEPC’s initiative, noting that such events help enhance knowledge, enhance networking, and open new doors for exports. The GJEPC team also visited select retail outlets in the city to spread awareness about its various initiatives.
