GJEPC organised an industry interaction meet in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on 19 June 2026, bringing together more than 20 jewellers from Shimla and Solan to strengthen export awareness and encourage participation in international markets.

The session focused on export procedures, compliance requirements and the support ecosystem offered by GJEPC to help businesses tap overseas opportunities.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the commitment by presidents and secretaries of local trade associations to participate in IIJS Bharat Premiere in Mumbai as a unified visitor delegation. GJEPC also provided guidance on membership opportunities and announced plans to conduct a dedicated virtual membership promotion session within the next 15 days.

The interaction witnessed active participation from several prominent trade members and retailers, and underscored GJEPC’s efforts to strengthen regional trade networks, nurture future exporters and expand India’s gem and jewellery presence in global markets.
