GJEPC held an online “E-Commerce Troubleshooting Meet”, attended by 35 members, with Tej Desai, Business Development Manager, DHL Express and Saurabh Wadhwa, Manager - Business Development, eBay, as guest speakers. Nitin Khandelwal, Regional Director – Jaipur and Dr. Rashmi Arora, Deputy Director, GJEPC, facilitated the session on 4th November based on member feedback, followed by queries submitted by the members during a survey conducted by the Council.

Members raised queries related to expansion plans of DHL services in certain areas (like Nadiad and Rajkot), return policies, third-party insurance options, onboarding procedures, and other operational matters from DHL and eBay.

DHL confirmed active jewellery pickups from six major cities and said expansion to Ahmedabad is under way. eBay informed that they have a third-party warehouse solution in US which can be utilised by sellers to manage their returns by warehousing it there and if re-shipping for new orders.

GJEPC informed about its existing MoUs with DHL and eBay offering special member rates and shipment protection, and added that eBay will reach out to assist members with onboarding and product listings. Around 40 participants are expected in the follow-up meeting to continue addressing e-commerce challenges.
