GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office hosted a special guest lecture for participants of the fourth batch of its training programme, “How to Start Exports of Gems and Jewellery” on 10 June. Mr. Niraj Gupta, Jewellery Appraiser at ACC Exports, Customs, New Delhi, was invited to share his expertise with the aspiring exporters. He was welcomed by Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman (North), GJEPC, who also joined in guiding the attendees through the export process.

The session provided a comprehensive overview of export procedures, covering essential topics such as documentation, compliance, and prudent practices under Customs regulations. Mr. Gupta used sample documents, including invoices and shipping bills for both hand-carry and regular consignments, to explain the practical aspects of jewellery exports.

An interactive Q&A session followed, where both Mr. Gupta and Mr. Sawhney addressed participants’ questions, enabling the attendees to gain valuable insights into the operational side of gem and jewellery exports.
