The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council’s (GJEPC) Kolkata regional office conducted a seminar for members of the jewellery trade in Kolkata on October 22 to raise awareness about various government schemes available to exporters as well as other projects run by the Council for the trade.

The speakers included Shri P. C. Pincha, Regional Chairman, ER, Shri Mithlesh Pandey, Director, Membership GJEPC, Shri Ajoy Bandopadhyaya – Director, MSME DI, Kolkata, Shri S. Mukhopadhyay, Asst. Director, MSME, Shri S.K. Shaha, Chief Manager, NSIC, Kolkata and representatives from GIA & Edelweiss.

Presentations covered the details, and benefits of MSME / NSIC schemes, the advantages of becoming a member of GJEPC and particular projects facilitated by the Council such as the Parichay Card and Health Insurance.

The seminar was attended by more than 75 jewellers, including many from local jewellery associations.
