The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the Indian gem and jewellery industry, has urged its members to register and participate in the mega employment fair organised by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on 11th March, 2024 in Mumbai.

The employment fair is a part of the government’s initiative to create more job opportunities in the country. The NSDC is a public-private partnership organisation that works to enhance and align the skills of the Indian workforce with the needs of the economy. The NSDC offers various programs, initiatives and services to promote skill development, quality assurance, industry partnership and CSR.

The GJEPC, which represents 10,000 exporters in the gem and jewellery sector, has congratulated the NSDC for this initiative and said that this opportunity will enable both the employers and the job seekers to connect and benefit from each other.

The registration for the employment fair is open till March 10, 2024 and can be done through the link provided by the NSDC. The registered firms will be able to post their vacancies and conduct face-to-face interviews with the eligible candidates. The job seekers will be able to browse through the available jobs and apply for the ones that match their qualifications and interests.
