GJEPC’s Regional Office in Surat hosted an engaging webinar on 17 June to spotlight the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) in Dubai and promote the upcoming Market Research and Familiarisation Programme. The initiative aims to assist members in tapping into the GCC export market.

Over 100 members from across Gujarat attended the webinar. The session opened with Mr. Jayantibhai Savaliya, Regional Chairman – Gujarat, GJEPC, who highlighted the strategic importance of IJEX in Dubai. He noted that the initiative serves as a launchpad for Indian jewellers looking to explore or expand their footprint in the Middle East.

Mr. Ashish Sakhardande, Head - IJEX, GJEPC, gave an in-depth presentation detailing the one-week programme. He outlined a packed schedule featuring guided visits to jewellery hubs in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, one-on-one B2B meetings with top designers and market consultants, and tailored support in marketing and research.

Two programme batches were announced—7th July and 11th August 2025. The response was immediate and positive, with 25 participants confirming their participation during the session itself.
