Nagpur Seminar Sheds Light on IIJS Benefits & MSME Export Schemes

GJEPC, in association with the All India Jewellers and Goldsmith Federation (AIJGF), successfully conducted a seminar titled GJEPC and Trade Opportunities in Nagpur.

The event aimed to raise awareness about IIJS Premiere, export-related initiatives and opportunities for jewellers, particularly in the MSME segment. Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director, GJEPC, led a comprehensive session covering various government schemes, and explained how platforms like SAJEX and IJEX can catalyse export growth. He also shared insights into international show participation, e-commerce exports, and hand-carry export procedures from Mumbai.

Ms. Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, provided a detailed walkthrough of the IIJS shows, highlighting their impact on lead generation, branding, and market outreach.

Adding a tech perspective, Mr. Murli Iyer from De Beers showcased how retailers can leverage Indra’s digital platform to grow their natural diamond business using innovative customer engagement tools.

AIJGF President Mr. Pankaj Arora and Vice President Mr. Nitin Kedia lent strong support to the seminar, encouraging local jewellers to make the most of GJEPC’s initiatives. Their participation facilitated valuable dialogue between regional stakeholders and the trade body.

Over 150 attendees, including jewellers, manufacturers, exporters, and representatives from Vidarbha-based associations, took part in the event, which concluded with an engaging Q&A session and networking opportunities.
